With grateful thanks to GR8LC, 40 Hong Kong CityU MBA students and professor from the course, Consumer Behaviour, were able to visit the iconic boutique hotel,The Luxe Manor, in Kowloon, Hong Kong, on a field trip in early February. We were treated to the visual surrealism of a blend of Nordic and Hong Kong designs and deco that catered to guests looking for something different, for that unexpected "Wow" in their vacation stay experience. To find such careful attention to the detailed use of limited space in the prime tourist district of Tsim Sha Tsui certainly evoked our surprised delight and admiration. Our hosts, Mr Francis Fung (Group Associate Director) and Ms Suki Mo (Asst Director of Sales & Revenue), were most gracious is showing us around. A most worthwhile afternoon of learning, overall.
